The FDC 85 brings together hunters from the Vendée department and takes part in managing species and natural areas. As the official hunting authority at the departmental level, it represents hunters’ interests, including before the courts, and supports its members in improving hunting practices in the public interest. It carries out public service missions, enhances the department’s hunting heritage, and works to protect wildlife and its habitats. The Federation develops tools and structures dedicated to the sustainable management of species and natural environments, promoting biodiversity. It also integrates hunting into a sustainable development approach and the responsible management of natural resources. FDC 85 is an association accredited for environmental protection.
