The Agence LUCIE team is made up of twenty-odd members of staff who are positively dedicated to lighting your way and confidently guiding you through your CSR procedures!
Agence LUCIE, a pioneer of CSR in France
As far back as 1993, Alan Fustec (Co-Founder of LUCIE and now Chair of Agence LUCIE) introduced a sustainable development strategy into his company. In 1999, he was the first to audit this approach. He then created a sustainable development consultancy firm, at a time when no-one was paying much interest to CSR. In 2006, LUCIE, the very first CSR certification in France, was born. Three years later, Agence LUCIE was created. Since then, it has continued to raise the profile of CSR in France and abroad, through its integrated Training Centre, its CSR and SIT certifications and its dynamic community.

Fully transparent governance and funding
Agence LUCIE is a simplified joint stock company (société par actions simplifiée, SAS), 50% of which is held by associations and 50% by companies.

In 2018, the LUCIE Community became a shareholder in the certification through the creation of the ALURSO association. The aim was to incorporate the community’s expectations into the very heart of the governance of LUCIE.
The majority of our funding comes from certification fees and the work of LUCIE Training Centre. We create value and share it with our stakeholders.
To ensure that our certifications meet the highest standards, much of the cost of certification is returned directly to the assessing partners and the partner network (for example, with the LUCIE 26000 certification, between 60% and 70% of the certification cost goes to the external assessor).
