Our members

The association Escale et Habitat is a player in the social and solidarity economy located in Blois. She develops her activities around a social project that defends values of diversity, living together, and encounters. These activities concern accommodation and social support for young people, social tourism, catering, meetings/seminars, animation. On the same site, these activities are carried out in a 121-room Young Workers’ Hostel (FJT), a youth hostel offering 120 beds, a 230-seat restaurant, a conference area with 6 meeting rooms and another site, of a student residence offering 65 studios.
Concerned about the welcome and comfort of each of its guests, our establishment is committed to respecting a quality charter, to guarantee accessibility for all, financial and physical and to reduce its impact on the environment.

A venue for multidisciplinary programming and certified cinema, the EMC is both a living space for audiences and a creative space for artists. Friendly and welcoming, it embraces a dynamic of co-construction and a cultural rights approach. Rooted in its local community, it develops its projects in partnership with local associations, schools, and cultural organizations, thus fostering exchanges between disciplines and audiences. This venue is above all a shared, accessible space where art and culture become vectors of connection, emancipation, reflection, and collective enjoyment.
Its open and committed programming addresses contemporary issues—social, societal, artistic, and environmental—reflecting current concerns.
Conscious of its impact, the team pursues a sustainable development approach through an active CSR policy.
