The Gironde Department has long been committed to addressing sustainable development issues through an approach that combines exemplary community action with a desire to broaden the capacity of all stakeholders to contribute to the responses needed and collectively identify new solutions to achieve them.

This policy gained new development with the Department’s adoption of its Agenda 2030 transformation plan and the affirmation of its commitment to a territorial resilience strategy, also known as the “Girondine strategy for anticipation and urgent adaptation to environmental and societal changes,” based in particular on strengthening solidarity and moderation.
The results are reported annually in the “Annual Sustainable Development Transition Report,” highlighting key actions related to the global sustainable development goals.

Désirade was founded 30 years ago to develop local IT solutions, complementing major enterprise software systems. We specialize in a niche of excellence: ‘small applications.’ Indeed, corporate IT systems are built around large integrated software packages that support business functions with a unified approach. However, these packages do not address all the specific needs of individual departments. This is where small applications come into play
