La Machine is a street theatre company created in 1999 by François Delaroziere.
It was born from the collaboration of artists, technicians and stage designers to build unusual performance objects. The work we develop in public spaces primarily concerns theatre, urban planning and architecture. The Company has created numerous projects as part of the urban development of large machines, which it stages during performances in public spaces. At the heart of the La Machine company’s artistic approach, movement is interpreted as a language, as a source of emotion. Through each of these livingarchitectures, we imagine the metropolis of tomorrow and thus transform our vision of our cities.
