Sustainable IT level 1 certification
The sustainable IT certification is for organisations who are commitment to responsible, sober, ethical and inclusive digital technology. It is split into two levels. With level 1, the most accessible level, take your first confident steps towards reducing your digital impact.
The certification is the result of a partnership between the Institut du Numérique Responsable, France IT and Agence LUCIE, supported by ADEME.

- Compulsory one-day training plus the SIT MOOC
- The cost of the audit based on your turnover
- An annual subscription (based on your turnover or operating budget); brand licensing fee including access to all LUCIE Community tools, services and events

The SIT 1 certification and its guidelines were designed to be accessible to all types of organisations regardless of size and level of maturity around Responsible Digital Technology. This is a turnkey methodology to work on a serious process of continuous improvement and of reducing the impact of digital technology use.
SIT 1 certification falls neatly within a broader CSR approach and can showcase your maturity on these subjects.

The Responsible Digital Technology guidelines were drafted in 2018 by the Institut du Numérique Responsable in partnership with the Minister for the Ecological Transition, ADEME and WWF. They enable organisations to work towards reducing the social and environmental impact of their use of digital technology.

A multi-step certification process:
- Initial training (one day) and the INR MOOC
- Self-assessment
- Audit (minimum score of 300/1,000 points required)
- Drafting an action plan (your commitments)
- Award of the certification for two years
