LUCIE 26000 is the leading CSR certification, aligned with international standard ISO 26000. It is appropriate for all organisations wishing to promote their social responsibility with a demanding and recognised certification, and to structure their policy in-depth using a 360° methodology.

A certification which is aligned with ISO 26000
The LUCIE 26000 certification is an operational adaptation of the international norm on social responsibility, ISO 26000, which has become essential for organisations bound by it. The certification covers the seven central questions of ISO 26000:
- Governance
- Human rights
- Labour practices
- Environment
- Fair operating practices
- Consumer issues
- Community involvement and development
At the same time, the LUCIE guidelines are regularly updated to integrate new CSR guidance such as the SDGs, the GRI and other new regulations.

The LUCIE guidelines are aligned with the international standard ISO 26000. It is designed to be practical and accessible to all types of organisations. It allows organisations to conduct an in-depth CSR self-assessment and to measure their level of maturity around CSR.

A multi-step certification process:
- Initial training (two days)
- Self-assessment
- An initial on-site audit including an interview with internal and external stakeholders (score of 500/1,000 points required).
- Drafting an action plan (your commitments)
- Award of the certification for four years
- An audit to monitor the action plan remotely 24 months after certification

The LUCIE certification is more than certification of a certain level of maturity. It is a certification that helps organisations progress, allowing you to validate practical commitments and to motivate your teams to accomplish them.
The certification cost includes:
- Compulsory two-day training for at least one person
- An annual subscription (based on your turnover or operating budget); brand licensing fee including access to all LUCIE Community tools, services and events
- The cost of on-site audits (initial and monitoring), based on the number of staff and sites

ISO 26000 is an international standard which provides guidelines for organisations wishing to integrate social responsibility into their activities. It is a reference framework which helps companies to adopt more sustainable practices, better take stakeholders into account, control risks and improve their compliance with regulatory and social expectations.
The main difference is that ISO 26000 is a guideline standard, while ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 are certifiable: they set out requirements applicable to managements systems that are subject to certification. ISO 14001 relates to environmental management, while ISO 9001 relates to quality management. ISO 26000 supports organisations adopting a comprehensive approach to social responsibility.
ISO 26000 is not subject to official certification. However, its application contributes towards improving supply chain logistics by encouraging responsible practices, better cooperation with partners and a broader adoption of social and environmental issues.
